Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (C V Raman) (7 Nov 1888-21 Nov 1970)

The great Indian Physicist. Sir. Raman was the recipient of Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930(Raman Effect). Raman was a tamil Brahmin from Thiruchirappally. His Parents were R Chandrasekhara Iyer and Parvati Ammal. Raman studied in St. Aloysius School. His father was a lecturer in Maths and Physics.
